Job Advertisement – Community Support Officer Position

One of the key roles of the Red Cross and Red Cross Crescent Movement throughout the world is to prepare for and respond to disasters when they occur, and to work with communities and individuals to help them build their resilience to such disasters.

The Anguilla Red Cross (ARC) wishes to maintain a strong presence in Anguilla’s community.

For this, we are recruiting a part-time position in

(i) Community Support Officer to support the planning and implementation of our community risk reduction programmes. The Community Support Officer will coordinate, and support activities undertaken by ARC targeted communities, in collaboration with community leaders, Community Emergency Response Teams (CERTs) and other key stakeholders.

The post is on a part-time/shift basis, on evenings, weekends, and holidays (if necessary)

Monthly payment : EC$1,200.00 per month.

Duration : 6 months (until the end of our Resilience Programme 31st March 2021).
